Is Hydrafacial™ suitable for me?
Hydrafacial™ treatments are suitable for all skin types and are especially effective for acne affected skin and even the most sensitive skin types.
Is a Hydrafacial™ treatment painful?
Hydrafacial™ treatments are not painful. Some of our clients say they find parts of the treatment a little ‘scratchy’, but do not hurt. The results are amazing given that this is one of the most gentle and non-invasive skin treatments we offer and many of our clients find it very relaxing and enjoyable.
Are there any side effects?
The Hydrafacial™ treatments are very safe and low-risk with very few reported side effects. However, as with any skin treatment, there is a possibility of experiencing some mild side effects, such as redness, breakouts and sensitivity.
- Redness - Some people may experience mild redness after a Hydrafacial™ treatment, however this will subside within a couple of hours.
- Breakouts - In some cases, Hydrafacial™ can cause a temporary increase in acne breakouts as the skin purges impurities and toxins.
- Sensitivity - People with very sensitive skin may experience some mild discomfort during the treatment, but this can be minimised by communicating any concerns to your skin professional providing the treatment during the consultation.
